It was a dry rainy August, she lay there looking around, may be someone saw, maybe someone would come, maybe someone could help her. And someone did, the autowala had seen her who intern took the courtesy to call for help, fortunately he knew people who could attend to her bent foot which she could not stand on now. Kumar and kishan reached the Veterinary road, and heard the usual story.
Barely 5 months old or lesser, she had been left on the roads to fend for herself, obviously after OWNer of her mother thought his family needed her milk more that her own calf. And here she was, lying on a busy road, hit by a
truck with writhing pain in her hind foot and unable to stand.
Its been three days and it rained much last night to add to her agony, before a man stepped down from an auto and walked to her. It was rough with some more pain as she was made to walk into a truck but something felt right or not. The truck rode over for about sometime before they made her get down and walk to a room.
Ah, a field, it hurt but she was used to it by now, it just hurt more and more. She was distracted as she saw some dogs around, barking to the stranger in their home, was not sure what was happening and tried moving away but her foot gave away as they tied her to a tree.
Freshly cut chara and water was given to her in
sometime and things settled down. Some hours before another man with a briefcase walked to her foot but she was scared. Kishan held onto her and they made her lie on her side while the Dr. Singh attended to her fractured ankle.
